ANDY LAPIDES, LCSW, BCD
clinician

Andy is the owner of the Morris Guild and has been in the field for over twenty years.  He is a licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey and New York state and is board certified by the American Board of Clinical Social Work. He completed his master's of social work (MSW) at Fordham University and bachelor's of science in social work at New York University. 

 

Andy trained in gestalt therapy at the Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy & Training in New York City from 2005 to 2008 where he completed his certificate as a qualified gestalt therapist. He continued his studies in psychoanalysis at the Academy of Clinical & Applied Psychoanalysis in Livingston, NJ from 2009 to 2012, and group psychoanalysis at The Center for Group Studies in New York City from 2013 to 2016. He has been teaching as an adjunct professor at the Rutgers University School of Social Work since 2019.

Andy is a certified clinical supervisor and trains new clinicians.  

Andy is a passionate couples therapist currently training in EFT couples therapy.  ​He has done additional training in imago couples therapy, gottman couples therapy, psychodynamic couples therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and much more.

He has published internationally in integrative psychotherapy and has led, supported, and founded several programs.  He founded and runs the International Psychotherapist's book club with psychotherapists internationally.

Andy works with a variety of clients, particularly couples, men, adult survivors of abuse, LGBTQA+ clients, and others. His practice utilizes an integrative framework emphasizing relational work. Client's often comment on Andy's strong listening skills, sensitivity, genuineness, and use of humor.

Outside of his professional life, Andy enjoys traveling, live music, hiking, NYC, the arts, and more.

Chunbo Fan, LAC
clinician

Chunbo Fan is a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey. She received her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) from Fort Hays State University in Kansas and her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Delaware. She is currently pursuing doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision (CES), with interests in trauma, integrative mental health, and the connection between emotional and physical well-being.

Chunbo is passionate about supporting clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, cultural transitions, and major life-stage changes. She completed foundational training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in 2025 and has been training in psychodrama since April 2025.

Chunbo provides counseling in both Mandarin Chinese and English. She works with a diverse range of clients, particularly first- and second-generation multicultural immigrants, adult survivors of abuse, LGBTQIA+ clients, and others navigating identity, belonging, and relational challenges.

Alyson O'Neill, CSW
social work intern

Alyson is a certified social worker in New Jersey and is a graduate-level social work student in her second year of her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program at Rutgers University.  She earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Seton Hall University and is a member of the Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society, and has received the Petersheim Student Travel Award for her research on substance use. 

She has experience working in the field of social work with substance abuse and mental health in multiple settings with diverse clientele.  She is especially interested in trauma-informed practice and promoting mental health equity. She is committed to creating a nonjudgmental and safe environment for clients, where they can feel supported and empowered to pursue their own personal goals.

In her personal life, she enjoys going to concerts, the gym,  jogging, and reading.
